Why It Means So much

This fragrance will always be the heart of Shine Bright.

It's inspired by the perfume my mum wore every single day. The fragrance I grew up knowing, the fragrance that filled our home and the fragrance that, even now, can stop me in my tracks.

When my mum passed away in 2019, my world changed forever. Grief is something you never truly get over—you simply learn to carry it. There are still moments when I instinctively reach for my phone to tell her something, or catch myself wishing I could hear her voice, ask for her advice or feel one more hug. Then reality hits all over again.

For just a little while, this fragrance changes that.

The moment I smell it, I'm no longer standing in my workshop. I'm back with her. Back in those ordinary moments that never felt extraordinary at the time, but today I'd give anything to have them back. It's incredible how a single fragrance can unlock memories that have been quietly waiting in your heart.

She believed in me before I ever believed in myself. She encouraged every dream, celebrated every achievement and reminded me never to give up, even when I wanted to. I only wish she could see what Shine Bright has become.

This business exists because of her. This fragrance isn't simply inspired by the perfume she wore.

It's the closest thing I have to a hug I can no longer have.

Because no matter how much time passes, she'll always be my brightest star.

Your safety is our priority. Please read and follow these safety instructions every time you use our wax melts.

Before You Begin

  • Remove all packaging before placing your wax melt into the burner.
  • Use only in a wax melt burner specifically designed for wax melts.
  • Always place your burner on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.

During Use

  • Never leave a burning tealight or switched-on electric wax burner unattended.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Do not add water, fragrance oil or any other substance to the melted wax.
  • Do not move the burner while the wax is melted or hot.
  • Keep away from flammable materials such as curtains, paper and fabrics.
  • Use only with an unscented tealight if using a traditional burner. Do not use oversized or multiple tealights.
  • Do not overfill the wax dish.

After Use

  • Allow the wax to cool completely before removing or changing the wax.
  • Do not pour melted wax down sinks or drains.
  • Clean your burner regularly to prevent residue build-up.

General Information

  • Our wax melts are not edible. Do not consume.
  • Avoid direct contact with skin while the wax is hot, as it may cause burns.
  • If irritation occurs after handling the wax, discontinue use and wash the affected area thoroughly.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
